Stamp Review Crew: This Little Piggy

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/08/this-little-piggy.html
We are back with another blog hop featuring just one stamp set! This time we have chosen This Little Piggy. How stinkin' cute is that set?! I grew up on a pig farm, so this was an especially endearing set for me. Sometime I will have to tell you the story of the piglet Diana.

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.

If you are following along in order, you have just arrived from Dawn Tidd's blog. Wonderful!!

I am so sorry everybody. My procrastination backfired on me, and I ran out of time to get my poop in a scoop this weekend.. I worked all weekend. And let's just say that it is indeed a FULL MOON! I will get a project up as soon as I can... after I sleep for a few hours :) Until then, please enjoy the rest of the hop.

ETA: I have my poop in a scoop now!! This is a common phrase out of my mouth. Along with "what am I doing?" "I will be back in two shakes and a wiggle" and the more colorful "God bless America!" which is really a polite way of cussing up a storm, lol!Now on with the show!

The cute characters from Stampin' Up!'s This Little Piggy stamp set paired with the Lovely Words thinlits and the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP = one sweet card!
Who needs a hug? Just about everybody at some time or another. And look at those adorable little pigs just ready and eager to do the job!
The little piggies are stamped on scraps of watercolor paper and colored with Powder Pink and an Aqua-painter. The DSP is from Whole Lot of Lovely, and the die is from Lovely Words. And the Layering Circles added the inside negative circle to from the word die. I fussy cut the piggies, and adhered them to the back of the panel before I added stitching. A little more stamp surgery, cutting Hogs off the stamp, and the sentiment is popped up on a couple of Mini Dimensionals. Inside, I added a few more kisses 😘

And now, let's go see what the amazing Charlet has for us!

Don't worry! Life happens! For example, my son decided not to nap this weekend so I only got my post up about 2 minutes before we went live! We totally understand. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Well worth the wait, Tanya! I LOVE the bold paper...and the cute positioning of the pigs in the circle. Great job, my friend!

This is just adorable, Tanya! I love the hugs framelit and will have to try that. As much as I love the piggies, I'm not sure I'd send anyone hogs and kisses. Such a cute shaker card!

I totally read the greeting as "Hogs" and kisses! The piggies peeking out is just too cute. You are so clever, no wonder you are Artisan! Glad you gt your poop in the scoop. :D

Ha, ha .. in Australia we're not as polite. Glad to see you got your sh@* together. :) It was definitely worth the wait. That DSP is perfect for the piggy. Love it.
